Hi! I'm Céleste Baquet, a PhD student working on the BioImp project within the BIND team at FEMTO-ST Institute in Besançon.

Before starting my PhD, I earned a double master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from École Polytechnique de Bruxelles and Centrale Lille, where I specialized in instrumentation and biomechanics.
During my final year, I first joined the BIND team as an intern, where I designed and tested a microfluidic chip for the continuous flow separation of magnetic nanoparticles. I also completed my master’s thesis in bioinformatics, exploring how AlphaFold2 embedding could help determine whether a protein is an allergen.
