Adeline Marguier obtained her PhD in Biointerfaces science at the University of Haute-Alsace (Materials Science Institute of Mulhouse) in September 2018. Her research interests lie at the intersection of multidisciplinary approaches in microbiology, chemistry and physics of bacteria-substrate interactions. Her thesis work was focused on the bacterial behavior on superhydrophobic coatings. She has just joined the Biomicrodevices (BMD) research group under the management of Vincent Humblot. She will work on the METEOR project to develop and characterize surfaces with antibacterial properties. |
